Reilly Lake is an outpost camp of Reindeer Lake located on the border of Manitoba and Saskatchewan. To get here we first landed on a dirt runway at the main lodge island and then hopped a float plane to the camp. I was fortunate enough to go on this fishing trip with my good buddy Jack. We were in the bush to say the least and fished from 8 am to 10 pm for seven days straight. Most of the fish caught were Northern Pike and Walleye with a few Lake Trout on the last day. We were using spinning rods for gear and mostly Rapalas and Daredevils as well as jigs for Walleye. When I say that we caught a ton of fish this is not an exaggeration by any means. Everything we caught was on barbless hooks and no nets. Here are a few hogs that I landed!
